Privacy Policy

1. Scope and current services

This policy covers stagemichi.zktxz.com, operated under the name StageMichi. It does not cover the websites of venues, ticket sellers, Google Maps or other services you choose to visit.

As of the date above, StageMichi does not run visitor accounts, ticket sales, a payment service or a public contact form. Google Analytics 4 is installed to help us understand how the guide is used. Google AdSense has not been enabled. Searching the venue list takes place in your browser; the search feature does not send your search words to a StageMichi search server.

2. Saved venues and browser storage

When you save a venue using the heart button, its venue identifier is stored in your browser's local storage under gigtrail-saved-venues. The older “gigtrail” name is an internal storage key. It allows your saved list to remain available on later visits using the same browser and site address.

This saved list is not uploaded by StageMichi to an account or a remote database, and it does not automatically synchronize across devices. Public venue searches and filters are processed in the browser.

Local storage is different from a cookie: the browser does not automatically attach it to every HTTP request. StageMichi's current saved-venue feature does not set an advertising cookie. The separate local administration tool, which is not part of the public guide, can store editing records under gigtrail-operations-v1; the public guide does not use those editing records.

Saved venues remain until you remove them or clear the site's browser data. Browser settings, private browsing or storage limits may also remove them. To remove all saved venues, clear this site's data in your browser settings. Doing so may also remove any other locally stored StageMichi settings or administration records in that browser.

3. Technical information and hosting

Loading a website involves sending technical information to the server that delivers it. This can include your IP address, the requested page or file, time of access, browser information and a referring address, where supplied by your browser. Our hosting provider may process or record this information to deliver the site, maintain security and investigate errors.

Hosting logs are separate from the Google Analytics measurements described below. The retention of hosting logs depends on the provider's settings and applicable requirements; this notice does not promise a fixed retention period that has not been verified.

4. Fonts and external links

Google Analytics 4

StageMichi uses Google Analytics 4, provided by Google, to understand visits and improve the guide. The Google tag runs on public pages only when analytics is enabled through the privacy controls. Before permission, the tag stays inactive and no Analytics request is sent. It can collect information about page views, interactions, referring websites, and your browser and device. Depending on the Analytics settings, automatic measurement may also record activities such as scrolling or outbound link clicks.

Google Analytics uses first-party cookies, including cookies with names beginning with _ga, to distinguish browsers and sessions. Google receives technical information when requests are sent; Google states that Analytics 4 does not log or store individual IP addresses. We do not configure this site to send names, email addresses or the contents of your saved-venue list to Analytics. Avoid including personal information in page URLs.

See Google Analytics data safeguards and how Google uses information from partner sites. You can block or delete cookies using browser settings, or use Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on where supported. Deleting cookies alone does not prevent new Analytics cookies from being created on a later visit. Use “Privacy settings” in the footer to enable or disable Analytics separately from advertising. Disabling an already running service reloads the page. This does not undo information already sent.

Google Fonts

The site loads fonts from Google Fonts. Your browser makes requests to Google's font servers, which involve technical information such as your IP address and the requested resources. These font requests are separate from Google AdSense or Google Analytics. See Google's Privacy Policy and the Google Fonts FAQ for Google's information about this service.

Venue websites, maps and source information

Links to venue websites, ticket services, Google Maps and photo source pages take you to third-party services with their own privacy policies. The map links include the venue's name and address. StageMichi does not request your device location; if you use directions, Google Maps may separately ask for a starting point or location permission.

Venue photographs are served from StageMichi's own image files. Opening a credited source link, such as a Wikimedia Commons page, is a separate visit to that service.

5. Advertising and your choices

Adsterra banner advertising

StageMichi provides one optional 300 × 250 Adsterra banner on each of the Shimokitazawa, Shibuya, Koenji and Shinjuku neighbourhood guides. These banners are not placed on the homepage, venue pages, guide index, practical visitor articles or information pages.

Before your advertising choice is made, the banner code stays inactive and no advertising request is sent. “Accept All”, “Necessary Only” and “Manage Preferences” let you control advertising and Analytics separately. Rejecting or making no choice leaves both services off and does not restrict the guide or search.

When advertising is enabled, the supplied tag contacts bauval.org. Adsterra and advertising partners may receive your IP address, browser and device information, page information and advertising interactions, and may use cookies or similar identifiers to deliver and measure advertisements, prevent fraud and personalize advertising. See Adsterra’s Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy. We have not verified a complete partner-by-partner cookie inventory, retention schedule, consent-signal integration or consent-free delivery mode. Blocking the tag prevents its initial network requests; this is not a claim that the tag supports non-personalized or cookie-free advertising.

Use “Privacy settings” in the footer or below a banner at any time. Your separate analytics and advertising choices, policy version, date and estimated country are stored locally under stagemichi-privacy-v2 for up to 180 days. This record is used only to remember and apply your privacy choices, not for advertising identification, and is not sent to an advertising provider. We retain no central consent log. A material change to the controls or purposes can require a new decision. Older advertising-only choices are not treated as Analytics consent. If browser storage is unavailable, choices apply only to the current page.

Withdrawing a permission reloads the page if the relevant third-party code has already started. We cannot recall data already sent or delete third-party cookies from this site; manage those through your browser. A valid rejection is remembered just like an acceptance. Global Privacy Control, where supplied by the browser, keeps advertising and Analytics off even if an earlier choice allowed them. Local previews never request live ads or Analytics.

Region detection and regional choices

Our server estimates your country from the IP address needed to receive your request. The lookup runs on our hosting server using an offline DB-IP Lite country database; it does not send the IP to a separate geolocation API. The endpoint returns only an estimated country and no raw IP address, uses a non-cacheable response, and adds no custom IP logs. Hosting access logs described above still apply. IP geolocation can be inaccurate, especially with a VPN, proxy or mobile network. It does not establish your citizenship or legal residence. We do not currently determine US states.

Country data: IP Geolocation by DB-IP, DB-IP Lite, CC BY 4.0. We convert the monthly country ranges to a local lookup format. Missing, stale or failed lookups are treated as an unknown region and never as Japan.

Our current policy requires a choice before advertising or Analytics in every region, including Japan, the EEA, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, the United States and unknown locations. This is a conservative site policy while provider requirements are reviewed; it does not mean every jurisdiction imposes identical consent rules. We have not established an Adsterra exception allowing automatic advertising in Japan. Any future automatic-processing exception requires a documented review and an updated notice. No inferred country is recorded as your consent.

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correction, erasure, withdrawal or objection, and rights to opt out of certain sale, sharing or targeted-advertising activities. Use Privacy settings to stop this site's optional tags and contact info@stagemichi.zktxz.com for privacy requests. Rights and legal applicability depend on the circumstances; this notice does not assert that all US state laws apply to this site.

Google AdSense and future Google advertising

Google AdSense is not currently active on StageMichi. The information below explains the planned approach if Google advertising is introduced; it does not mean that advertising cookies, Google advertising tags or a consent management platform have already been installed.

If enabled, Google and other third-party advertising providers may place or read cookies and use web beacons, IP addresses or similar identifiers to deliver and measure ads, prevent fraud and, where permitted and chosen, personalize advertising. Advertising cookies can enable Google and its partners to serve ads based on visits to this and other websites. Non-personalized advertising may still involve cookies or other identifiers for purposes such as reporting or fraud prevention.

Read how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. You can manage Google's ad personalization through My Ad Center and review participating providers' controls through YourAdChoices. These controls do not necessarily stop all ads or all uses of technical information.

Before Google advertising is activated, we will update this notice to reflect the actual providers and data use and configure the disclosures and consent controls required for the regions served. This includes Google's certified consent management platform requirements where applicable to users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland. A consent interface, when introduced, should explain available choices and how to change or withdraw consent. Google advertising is currently inactive; the Adsterra choices described above do not enable Google ads.

6. Your choices and information you send us

You can remove saved venues using the heart buttons and manage or clear site storage in your browser. Restricting storage may prevent saved venues from being remembered. You can choose whether to open external links and can review the privacy controls of those services.

If you email us, the information you choose to send, such as your email address and message, will be used to respond to your request, address a correction or resolve the matter raised. Please do not send unnecessary sensitive information. We retain correspondence only as long as needed to handle the matter and meet applicable obligations. Email delivery and storage also involve the providers used to operate the mailbox.

Depending on the laws that apply to you and the information held, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion or other choices about your personal information. Please use the privacy contact below to make a request. We may need information reasonably necessary to identify and handle your request. A saved list stored only in your own browser should be managed through that browser.

7. Changes to this policy

We will update this page when the site's features or data practices change and revise the date above. Advertising or analytics should not be described as active until it has actually been enabled and the corresponding privacy information and controls are in place.
